Cecil ´Satisfied´ With Oaks Pair Henry Cecil put the finishing touches to the Vodafone Oaks preparations of both favourite Passage Of Time and stable companion Light Shift on Tuesday morning.Both worked satisfactorily over seven furlongs on the Al Bahathri with Light Shift partnered by usual rider Ted Durcan while Shane Featherstonehaugh had the pleasure of sitting on Passage Of Time'Both did easy bits of work and both seem in fine fettle and were relaxed afterwards,' said Cecil, who is in search of an incredible eighth win in the race.'Ted Durcan said Light Shift has never felt better and Passage of Time went past her workmate in good style and seems in great form and both should handle the track and the ground.'I was very satisfied with the work and we just need a bit of luck now.'There was better news for Godolphin after Measured Tempo was able to undergo light exercise.She had been suffering from an abscess in her foot but the problem appears to have been overcome.Saeed Bin Suroor, trainer of the daughter of Sadler´s Wells, told the Racing Post: 'The filly has improved today, is getting there and we still have time before we have to decide to run her.'A mile and a half on soft ground will suit her and we are looking forward to running her.'(C) PA Sport
