Channon Pair Still In Guineas Frame

Nijoom Dubai and Nahoodh face important Tuesday workouts as connections consider the pair for Sunday´s stanjamesuk.com 1000 Guineas at Newmarket.

Both fillies are owned by Jaber Abdullah and trained by Mick Channon, but were well beaten behind Infallible and Muthabara in their respective trials.

However, Berkshire-based Channon is keeping the faith and hopes they will both be seen in action at Headquarters at the weekend.

"I´m very positive about both of them," the trainer told www.mickchannon.tv.

"Nahoodh was disappointing but she´s come out of it great. It was a muddling race and she didn´t pick up. There is still a week to go and I´m leaving her and Nijoom in the race.

"We´ll see how they go on Tuesday before finalising plans."
