The team pick out their best bets for Cheltenham 2026
Vincent Finegan, Paddy Flood, Emma Nagle and Johnny Ward highlighted their horses to follow for the season and their best bets for the 2026 Cheltenham Festival on our recent Jumps Season Preview.
From juveniles to top staying chasers, there are plenty to add to your notebook.
Vincent Finegan
Inothewayurthinkin is bet at the minute for the Gold Cup because I know he's going to be there. He's going to turn up on the day and hopefully he's value.
I like staying novice hurdle Soldier In Milan of Emmet Mulins’ won a decent bumper in Punchestown. Emmet is very excited about this horse.
Captain Cody, who won the Scottish national for Willie Mullins. If he has him right for the season, he’s a contender for a Grand National somewhere.
Finally, two juvenile hurdlers for Willie Mullins from France - Proactive and Narciso Has.
Paddy Flood
Fact To File he is a classy classy animal. Novice wise, I’ll go for Bambino Fever for the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle. I think she’s very, very good. She’s 12-1 for the Supreme.

Finally, Bob Olinger for the Stayers’ Hurdle.
Johnny Ward
The Yellow Clay and Romeo Coolio.
In the Gold Cup, I'll give Inothewayurthinkin and in the Champion Hurdle, Anzadam. That’s the Cheltenham Lucky 15.
Emma Nagle
Lecky Watson is a dour stayer and he’s pretty much top class. If he targeted a Grand National he would be one to be with for sure.
I like Kargese for the Arkle as an each-way bet. Gaelic Warrior is probably a big one, a big fancy for the King George and if he showed up in the Gold Cup in good form, he could run a massive race.
