Clash Of The Titans

Blue Square have priced up Sunday's Audemars Piguet QE11 Cup at Sha Tin and make Japanese challenger Admire Moon favourite at evens, over local superstar Vengeance Of Rain (6/4).

Both market leaders scored recent wins at the Dubai World Cup meeting, and this is arguably a clash between the two best turf mile and a quarter horses in the world.

The pair will have ideal conditions in terms of trip, going and track, so the winner will rightly be acknowledged as the best on the planet.

Kate Miller, Blue Square's PR said: 'International racing doesn't get much better than this. Following on from the highly successful Dubai World Cup meeting last month, the two biggest turf winners clash over their optimum trip. We marginally favour the younger Japanese challenger, who looked very unlucky at Sha Tin in December and who was value for more than the half a length by which he beat Linngari at Nad Al Sheba. The local superstar, Vengeance Of Rain, has won this race before (in 2005), and coped well with the step up in trip when winning the Sheema Classic last month. The six year old finished behind Admire Moon in the Hong Kong Cup last year, but wasn't given a great ride and this re-match is certain to produce a great race on Sunday.'
