Cleeve The Way To Go For King

Alan King is set to run My Way De Solzen in the rescheduled HBLB Cleeve Hurdle at Sandown on Saturday.

The six-year-old staked his claim for World Hurdle honours when landing the Long Walk at Chepstow in December, a race which itself had been switched following the abandonment of Windsor.

'I hope to run him at Sandown because I think the hurdles track will be fine,' the Barbury Castle trainer said. 'I shall look at the course and if I decide not to run him he will hopefully be rerouted to the National Spirit hurdle at Fontwell on February 19.

'Ideally I would not want him to run in the Rendlesham because Crystal D'Anay is going for that and I would like to keep them apart.'
