COCHRANE DETAINED IN HOSPITAL Ray Cochrane was in the wars again at Salisbury on Thursday. The jockey was taken to hospital following a fall while partnering a horse after racing at the Wiltshire track. His agent Andrew Gilbert explained: 'He was riding work when the iron broke. 'He was taken to Salisbury Hospital and they kept him in overnight for observation. 'I`ve taken him off his rides today. I haven`t had chance to speak to him this morning to discuss what to do about tomorrow.' Cochrane returned to race-riding on July 21 after making a full recovery from injuries he sustained in a plane crash at Newmarket, which claimed the life of pilot Patrick Mackey, on June 1. Having made a winning comeback he took a fall on the way to the start the following afternoon. He suffered mild concussion but was back in the saddle four days later.
