Cockney Pleasing Ahead Of Irish Bid Cockney Rebel remains on course for the Boylesports Irish 2000 Guineas after pleasing connections in a gallop. The 2000 Guineas hero blew out on the Cambridge Road polytrack in Newmarket as part of his preparations for the May 26 Classic.Huffer said: 'He did a bit of work and went very smoothly. We couldn´t be happier with him. Everything is on course for Ireland.'The Val Royal colt had been set to head straight to next month´s St James´s Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot but Huffer had a rethink as Cockney Rebel is in such good form.He added: 'He came out of his race so well that we thought we might as well try and pick up another Guineas if we can.'The only thing that would stop him running in Ireland would be real heavy ground.'(C) PA Sport
