Codd Points the way Jockey Jamie Codd is the early leader at the head of the Point to point Jockeys' Championship, with the Wexford rider partering six winners in the opening weeks of the season. Codd currently leads multiple Champion Jockey Derek O'Connor by six wins to three while O'Connor himself is just one winner behind John Thomas McNamara (525 - 524) as leading point to point rider of all time. O'Connor, who became the second rider to ride 500 winners last season, looks set to take-over McNamara's record in the coming weeks. Co Wexford trainer Denis Murphy currently leads the Handlers' Championship, with three winners.
