Collins Set For Double Raid

Tracey Collins is looking forward to having her first runners at Royal Ascot tomorrow.

Collins, who took over the reins of the family´s Curragh yard when he father Con died in January, saddles Dandy Man and Pencil Hill in the first two races on the opening day.

Dandy Man goes for the King´s Stand Stakes, in which he ran a tremendous race for a three-year-old 12 months ago when dead-heating for fourth place, beaten just a length by the winner Takeover Target.

'He´s come on from Naas and the horse is in good order,' Collins said.

'It´s a Group Two and it doesn´t matter whether they are Australians or English or French ? it´s going to be a hot race.'

Dandy Man has been drawn on the stands rail in stall one for the five-furlong dash, while Pencil Hill is on the other side of the track for the six-furlong Coventry Stakes, where he will come out of stall 19.

The son of Acclamation has made a big impression in winning both his starts.

'We´re very pleased with him. He´s well and we´re happy to be running him,' added Collins.

'Everything´s good ? the horse is in great form.'
