Connections Mull Authorized Plan

Peter Chapple-Hyam will keep a close eye on Authorized over the coming days before making a decision on his participation in the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes.

Undone in the tactical struggle of last Saturday's Coral-Eclipse, the trainer reports his Vodafone Derby hero to be moving well.

However, Chapple-Hyam has yet to firm up plans for Authorized with the July 28 event at Ascot still a possibility.

'He has come out of the race bouncing and he's cantering again,' said Chapple-Hyam.

Asked about the King George, he added: 'We'll see. I won't make a decision until next week.

'The horse seems in really good form and he'll tell us if he's ready.'
