Crowe out for between six to eight weeks through injury.

Jockey Alan Crowe is set to be out of action for between six to eight weeks due to an injury picked up at Cork last Friday.

The former Champion Amateur reported 'I was riding John Oliver in the handicap chase and the horse stumbled badly and unseated me a few strides after the fourth last fence.'

He added 'I broke my right wrist and had it operated on but I expect to be back race-riding in plenty time for Galway.'
