DARLEY READY TO PIPALONG

Kevin Darley will be fit to ride Pipalong in the $2 million Dubai Golden Shaheen at Nad Al Sheba on Saturday, it was announced today.

The champion jockey injured his right wrist in a fall while riding work at Gerard Butler`s stable at the weekend and it was feared he would miss the Dubai World Cup meeting.

But his agent Terry Norman said: 'Kevin will be fit to ride Pipalong on Saturday.

'He rode Pipalong in a gallop over three furlongs this morning. He`s fine and will definitely ride her on Saturday.

'He had the wrist checked over afterwards and there are no adverse effects.

'He`ll back to ride at Catterick next Wednesday.'
