Dettori on Grandera in Dubai Frankie Dettori will partner Grandera at Nad Al Sheba tomorrow when the four-year-old has his first outing for Godolphin.Formerly trained by James Fanshawe, the Grand Lodge colt has top-class form at 10 and 12 furlongs, including placed finishes in the French Derby, Coral Eclipse Stakes and Juddmonte International. He signed off last season with a deserved victory in the Dubai Arc Trial at Newbury when he beat Mubtaker by one and a half lengths.Among his opponents in the Group Three Dubai City Of Gold over 12 furlongs on turf will be Celtic Silence (Jamie Spencer), Exaltation (John Carroll), and Narrative (Richard Hills). The highlight of the card though will be the reappearance of Sakhee. His Dubai World Cup prep race was put back by 72 hours after the death of a member of the ruling Maktoum family on Thursday. So the conditions race in which Sakhee is to compete, and the Moonshell Mile, are now a feature of tomorrow`s nine-race fixture.Sakhee will be having his first run since he was narrowly beaten in the Breeders` Cup Classic last October as a warm-up for the Dubai World Cup.The five-year-old was officially rated the best horse of last year in the international classifications after a stunning campaign in Europe.Godolphin`s horse took the Juddmonte International - with Grandera seven lengths away in second - at York before running out a six-length winner of the Prix de l`Arc de Triomphe.
