Istabraq will face a maximum of 11 rivals when he tackles the Shell Champion Hurdle at Leopardstown on Friday.

The Grade One event has been switched to Leopardstown from the Punchestown Festival, where the track has been deemed unfit for racing.

Aidan O`Brien`s gelding, denied a chance to bid for a record fourth Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham, could face Edward O`Grady`s exciting novice Ned Kelly in the IR£69,000 contest over two miles.

Frances Crowley`s top novice chaser Sackville, who would have been a leading contender for the Royal & SunAlliance Chase at Cheltenham, heads 18 entries for the Captain Christy Novice Handicap Chase on the same card.
