Drunken Out To Restore Some Order Charlie Swan's Drunken Disorderly will be hoping for better luck as he faces 11 rivals in the Knight Frank Ganly Walters Novice Chase at Leopardstown on Friday. The seven-year-old still held every chance in the Drinmore Novice Chase won by Sky's The Limit when he tipped up two fences from home and will now bid for some Grade One compensation.Santa's Son would be an appropriate winner at this time of year and has won his last two starts over fences in the manner of an improving horse.Dessie Hughes' Oulart, a Cheltenham Festival winner in his youth, is still a novice over fences despite finishing second in the Irish Grand National in 2006.Noel Meade is represented by Charlie Yardbird and Mr Robert, while Robert Tyner's Callherwhatulike, who bolted up by 20 lengths last time out, steps up in class.Abbeybraney, Luxi River, Notre Pere, Secretofshambhala, Dreux and Sizing Australia complete the line-up.Despite Drunken Disorderly never having run over the three-mile trip before, Swan is reasonably confident his charge will stay the distance.'He seemed to still have a chance last time when he tipped up,' said Swan.'He's a real nice horse, his form is good and his form over hurdles was also ? he beat Jazz Messenger at Punchestown so he has a lot of ability.'We are trying the trip for the first time, which is an unknown. We did have him in the race yesterday which Sky's The Limit won over two miles.'It turned out there were only four runners and one of the main ones (Perce Rock) fell.'But we have been wanting to try him over three miles for a while and he has always given me the impression that he would stay and he is bred to.'Even though there are more runners in this race it does look slightly easier on paper than the two-miler.'(C) PA Sport
