EDDERY CUT IN TITLE RACE Pat Eddery is 3-1 from 5-1 with Coral to land the 2001 Jockeys` Championship title after punters saw him complete an 85-1 four-timer at Nottingham today. He struck aboard Dangerous Liaison (6-4), China Red (11-4), Hernadita (13-8) and Argamia (5-2). However he was also on the receiving end of a one-day suspension for excessive use of the whip aboard Hernandita which rules him out of action on May 2 - Victoria Cup day at Ascot. Kieren Fallon remains odds-on favourite at 4-5 (from 4-6) having ridden a double himself at Windsor with Richard Quinn easing to 3-1 from 9-4. 'Pat is certainly the man in form and his odds have tumbled from 14-1 to 3-1 in less than a week. The jockeys` championship looks like being more exciting than ever this year,' said Coral Eurobet spokesman Simon Clare.
