Enticing A Nunthorpe Possible Connections of Enticing are considering taking on the top older sprinters with the speedy juvenile in the VC Bet Nunthorpe Stakes at York on Thursday week. The daughter of the brilliantly fast Superstar Leo kept her unblemished record intact with a short-head call over Wi Dud in the Group Three Molecomb Stakes at Goodwood at the beginning of the month.Afterwards trainer William Haggas nominated the Persimmon Homes Flying Childers Stakes at York on September 8 as a possible target but before then he is keen to get another run into the filly.Enticing is entered in the Newvoicemedia St Hugh's Stakes at Newbury on Saturday but she could now be added, at a cost of #22,000, to the field for the Group One feature on the Knavesmire instead.'I don't think she'll run at Newbury,' Haggas said.'The Flying Childers is not until September 8. I'm planning to give her another run before then and there is a possibility she may be supplemented for the Nunthorpe but I don't know yet. We are thinking about it. It's just a possible.'The owner is happy to supplement her if we want to. So that's what we've got to decide in the next few days.'Obviously there are one or two very good animals like La Cucaracha and Dandy Man.'They are not useless but they need fast ground and if it came up soft, which I think my filly might enjoy because she's by Pivotal, you never know.'The deadline for supplementary entries is noon on Saturday.
