Champion Hurdle favourite Sizing Europe pleased trainer Henry De Bromhead in a workout this morning.
A general 2-1 chance for the feature race on the opening day of the Cheltenham Festival, he has headed the ante-post market since his demolition of a quality field in the AIG Champion Hurdle at Leopardstown.
And as the countdown continues to the biggest meeting on the National Hunt calendar, his young handler is delighted to be involved with the favourite for one of the biggest races of the season.
"He´s in great form, I´m really pleased with him," said De Bromhead.
"He worked and he worked well, so I´m really happy at the moment.
"It´s great to be involved with the favourite for the Champion Hurdle, we are just waiting for the race now at this stage.
"But we are very happy with him so hopefully he will stay that way between now and then."
