Exit Swinger in Japan British raider Exit Swinger arrived in Japan with a dirty nose earlier this week giving slight cause for concern as connections prime the gelding for a tilt at the Nakayama Grand Jump later this month.Martin Pipe`s big-race hope settled in at Chiroi quarantine centre on Monday evening and has generally been doing well.'He`s been pleasing us out in Japan and vets have carried out their own routine inspection of the horse,' Pipe said today. 'He`s eaten up and is drinking. 'He did arrive with a dirty nose, but this could be attributed to the first leg of the flight which was very cold.'Since arriving in Japan the temperature has been in the 20s.'The vets have taken blood samples and they have shown Exit Swinger`s red and white blood cell count to be normal.'Due to be ridden by Rodi Greene on April 13th, Exit Swinger`s next task is to cope with a gate test by the racecourse starter, as the event is begun in stalls.Cenkos and Banker Count, the two other British contenders, will also have to go through the starting stall ordeal.
