Express Primed For Phoenix Assault The Loan Express, a fast-finishing third in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot, is set for a step up in class in the Independent Water'ford Wedgwood Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday.Tommy Stack's Choisir filly has bumped into some smart recruits in her short career but showed her true potential when coming with a late run at Royal Ascot, where she was only beaten half a length by Elletelle.'She doesn't have much to find with Elletelle on Queen Mary form and we think she has improved since Ascot,' said Stack's son and assistant, Fozzy.'Obviously you never now until they run but on what she is showing us at home she seems to have improved anyway.'We've always thought quite highly of her and thankfully she has shown how good she is on the track.'(C) PA Sport
