FALLON TO GO ALL OUT FOR TITLE

Kieren Fallon has declared today that he will be going all out to regain the jockeys` championship in Britain which he was forced to relinquish last year after suffering a serious shoulder injury at Royal Ascot.

He was champion in 1997, 1998 and 1999 but did not ride again in Britain after his mount Alhawa was brought down in the Ascot Stakes on the second day of the Royal meeting last June.

The Irishman has been riding at Dubai over the winter and made a winning return to action at Nad Al Sheba at the end of December.

'It`s been going well,' said Fallon, who was speaking to the BBC at the Dubai World Cup meeting. 'I`ve had a couple of weeks in America as well, which helped me a bit.

'I was riding out for a month before I started race riding and that got me fit.

'I`ve had 38 mounts and seven winners which isn`t bad because without a job here you can struggle.

'I`m looking forward to getting back riding in England. I am as determined as ever to get the title back.'
