Fine And Dandy At Sandown

Dandy Man is among nine declared for the Betfair Temple Stakes at Sandown on Thursday evening.

Curragh trainer Tracey Collins has targeted this Group Two contest for the four-year-old after he made an impressive seasonal debut at Naas last month.

Kevin Ryan has elected to take on the likely favourite with Wi Dud, the sole three-year-old in the line-up.

Winner of the Flying Childers Stakes at York in September, Wi Dud wound up his juvenile campaign by finishing second to Dutch Art in the Middle Park Stakes over six furlongs and drops back to five furlongs.

The David Nicholls-trained Moss Vale makes a quick reappearance after being runner-up to Benbaun at the Curragh on Saturday while David Barker gives Sierra Vista the chance of another win following her success at Haydock the same day.

Michael Blanshard´s nine-year-old The Trader, runner-up to Reverence in this race 12 months ago, will attempt to go one better while a strong field is completed by James Fanshawe´s Firenze, Barry Hills´ Red Clubs, Clive Brittain´s Excusez Moi and Angus Newz from Micky Quinn´s stable.
