Fitzgerald to ride Bacchanal Nicky Henderson has confirmed that Mick Fitzgerald will ride Bacchanal in the Tote Cheltenham Gold Cup next week.Fitzgerald had the choice of his mount and stablemate Marlborough for the blue riband event at the Festival meeting.The jockey chose to ride Bacchanal in the Aon Chase at Newbury in February and his decision paid off when he took the honours while Marlborough finished third.Henderson agreed the decision had been a difficult one for Fitzgerald and also revealed they have yet to make a decision on who will ride Marlborough.He said: 'Yes, Mick`s going to ride Bacchanal.'We`ll just say that for now but he will be riding Bacchanal.'
