Flynn off and running as a professional Lenny Flynn had his first ride as a professional jockey at Bellewstown on Saturday, finishing third on Charlie Swan´s Come Back To Me in Champion Lettings Novice Hurdle. Flynn, who has "forty or more" winners ridden as an amateur, mentioned "I can claim 3lbs off the bottom weight (9st10lbs) and Ruaidhri Tierney is my agent. I have ridden mostly for my boss Charlie Swan but also ride for Paul Gilligan and Yvonne Dunleavy. Hopefully I´ll pick up more outside rides now that I am professional."
