Footy on World Hurdle trial at Navan Footy Facts may emerge as an outside contender for the Ladbrokes World Hurdle with a trial in the Grade 2 Boyne Hurdle at Navan on Sunday. Robert Tyner-trained eight-year-old won the Graded Monksfield Novice Hurdle at Navan last season but has needed time to return to his best this term. However, he took the Pertemps Qualifier at Leopardstown last month and is entered in the top stayers´ event at Cheltenham. "He did it well last time but I´m just a little worried about the ground as it is still drying out at the moment," said Tyner. "We´ll see how he gets on this Sunday before making any other plans." Tyner has another decent runner at the Co. Meath track, with Fairyhouse winner The Halfway Bar entered in the Keatings Oil Ten Up Novice Chase. "He jumped well last time, considering he had not completed over fences before, and should run well," added Tyner.
