Full steam ahead for Henry Aidan O´Brien´s dual Classic winner Henrythenavigator is on course for the St James´s Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot next week. The colt, whose Newmarket and Curragh Classic wins have been boosted when New Approach, runner-up in both races, landed the Epsom Derby on Saturday, is reported by O´Brien to be "well and the plan is to run him in the St James´s Palace Stakes. When running him in the Derby was ruled out, the Ascot race looked the obvious next step for him.? O´Brien first won the 1m Group 1 with Giant´s Causeway in 2000 and followed up with Black Minnaloushe the next year, Rock Of Gibraltar in 2002 and Excellent Art, who led home a 1-2-3 for the trainer a year ago. Another clash between Henrythenavigator and Jim Bolger´s Derby winner, perhaps in the Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown in September, would be something to savour. However, it is not occupying O´Brien´s mind at the moment. He said: ?We will take it one race at a time with Henry and we´re not looking beyond Royal Ascot for him at this stage. There is no point in looking too far ahead.?
