German Ace Poised For Coronation Exceptional German filly Mi Emma is on course to tackle the best of Europe´s three-year-olds in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot.Unraced at two and trained in Gutersloh by Andreas Wohler, she has won all her three starts this term and the form could not be working out better.Following a nine-length stroll in a Listed trial for the German 1000 Guineas over course and distance at Dusseldorf, Mi Emma went and won the Classic itself by exactly the same winning distance.'At the moment, the plan is to come over for the Coronation Stakes,' said Wohler.'She hasn´t made a mistake yet and has won both her last races easily.'In the Listed race, the runner-up Scatina has gone on to win a Group Two, and Mystic Lips, who was third and also second in the Guineas, went on to win the German Oaks (by five lengths) so the form is pretty good.'Wohler also trained Mi Emma´s sire, the globe-trotting Silvano who won the Arlington Million and Hong Kong´s Queen Elizabeth II Cup in 2001.The 45-year-old has also won a Dubai Duty Free with Paolini and while not getting carried away with Mi Emma, he has clearly been impressed by her.'I´ve trained some good fillies over the years, but so far, she´s one of the best. We will see how good she is at Ascot, there will be some very good ones there.'Mi Emma is currently trading as the third favourite for the Coronation Stakes on Betfair, behind Finsceal Beo and Darjina.(C) PA Sport
