Goffs´ Stateside Success Continues With Grade 1 Santa Anita H´cap Goffs yearling graduate Heatseeker powered to victory in the Grade 1 Santa Anita Handicap in California at the weekend and in doing so continued the incredible run of stateside success for Goffs graduates in recent months. The five year old son of Giants Causeway put in a promising display when runner up in the Grade 2 San Antonio Handicap just four weeks ago, and following his inspiring win in the $1 million Santa Anita race trainer Jerry Hollendorfer hinted at the Breeders Cup Classic as a long term target. Heatseeker was consigned at the Goffs Orby Yearling Sale in 2004 by Abbeville & Meadow Court Studs. Goffs graduates are currently enjoying a purple patch in the US, with Million graduate Daytona winning the Grade 1 Hollywood Derby in November, while Yankee Bravo recently landed the California Derby having gone through the ring at Goffs Kempton Breeze Up for a mere £5,000.
