Hannon Expecting Bold Asset Show Richard Hannon believes the best is yet to come from Asset ahead of his planned start in the Golden Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot next Saturday. The four-year-old, who is owned by Highclere Thoroughbred Racing, was a two-and-a-half-length winner of the Abernant Stakes on his seasonal bow but he has not run since that event in April.Although Hannon acknowledges the fact the four-strong Australian team pose a serious threat, he is convinced Asset can become one of the leading sprinters in Britain.´I´m not worried about the Australian horses´ early speed, as my boy has plenty of toe and would relish a strong gallop,' said Hannon.´I´m sure he´d be near the top of the sprinting tree in Britain and the best is surely yet to come.'(C) PA Sport
