Hassett Picks Up Two Day Ban The Stewards received a report from Turf Club Starter Lorcan Wyer, concerning the behaviour of Shane Hassett rider of Sea Beauty at the start of the first race. Evidence was heard from Mr Lorcan Wyer who stated that the rider in question had anticipated the start, disobeying his orders in the process. Evidence was also heard from the rider concerned who admitted his error. Having viewed the video of the incident and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Shane Hassett was in breach of Rule 40 and suspended him for two race days.
