Fairyhouse remains heavy with more rain forecast Following 1mm of rain in the last 24 hours the ground remains heavy at Fairyhouse ahead of their Easter festival this weekend. Sunny spells and showers are forecast with 25mm of rain possible prior to Monday evening. Fresh ground will be available on both tracks each day. The ground at Cork remains heavy on the Flat course and heavy, soft to heavy in places on the national hunt track. Heavy showers are set to hit the area today and tomorrow with 5-7mm (approx) of rain forecast by Met Èireann. The situation is being monitored.
