High Hopes For Swing John Oxx is hoping Arch Swing can overcome being isolated from most of the fancied runners in tomorrow?s Stan James 1000 Guineas at Newmarket. The unbeaten filly has been handed stall 19 in a field of 23 while the market leaders are drawn on the other side. The ante-post favourite Finsceal Beo will come out of stall eight with market rivals Sander Camillo (six), Yaqeen (three), Simply Perfect (10), Miss Beatrix (seven) and Scarlet Runner (nine) all close to one another.'I wouldn?t have any local knowledge about the draw, but I see that a lot of the fancied horses are drawn some way from her. A lot of them are 10 or under,' said the Currabeg trainer.'On the face of it, it wouldn?t look to be an advantage to be drawn out in 19, but other than that I can?t say if there?s an advantage one way or another.'We?ll have to see what happens in the 2000 Guineas, but I really would have preferred her to be nearer to the favourites. Most of the good fillies are on the other side or a bit away from her.'Oxx has been pleased with the way Arch Swing has recovered after being under the weather with a high temperature last month.'Everything?s fine with her. The week has gone well and she?s in good shape,' he added.'She seems to be back to form. We?ve been very happy with her. She?s had a good run and we?ve had no hiccups with her for the last two weeks. We are hoping for a good run.'(C) PA Sport
