HRI appoints Chief Executive The Board of Horse Racing Ireland has announced the appointment of Mr Brian Kavanagh as its Chief Executive.Mr Kavanagh will take up the position on December 1st 2001.Mr Kavanagh, aged 37, is a Chartered Accountant and has been working in the industry for the last twelve years. In 1999 he was appointed to his current position as Chief Executive of the Turf Club.Horse Racing Ireland is the new State Body established to oversee the future development of the Irish thoroughbred industry.
