Hayes is more than Content after Group 3 win for Ballydoyle Friendless in the market at 20/1, Content came from off the pace to land the Staffordstown Stud Stakes in the hands of Chris Hayes.  The daughter of Galileo, trained by Aidan O'Brien for the Coolmore partners, was held up towards rear and turned for home in sixth before making steady headway down the outer to lead inside the final furlong. She was ridden out to beat front-running favourite Kitty Rose by two and a half lengths which was precisely the gap between the two fillies when they finished in the opposite order in a Listed contest at Leopardstown on Champion Stakes Day.  “It was a nice spare to get," said Hayes for whom it was second winner from three rides for O'Brien. "She’s obviously well bred and if you ignored her last run and came straight here from Champions Weekend she had to have a chance. “She rolled around a little bit late on but it’s holding ground and we were after going an even tempo. “Aidan wanted to teach her so it was important to get cover and a smooth run. I think she will improve and she won snug in the end.” It was a quick double for the master of Ballydoyle after Illinois in the opener. The winner is 33/1 (from 100/1) for the 1,000 Guineas with Paddy Power and Betfair. Quotes from Alan Magee
