Irish Dairy Board signed up as another major sponsor for Punchestown Moscow Flyer with Pat Ward, Brands And Pr Manager for Irish Dairy Board and Richie Galway, Racing Manager at PunchestownPunchestown Racecourse has secured another major sponsor for its four day Irish National Hunt Festival in April. The highlight of the opening day of the Irish National Hunt Festival, the ?180,000 Grade 1 Two Mile Champion Chase is to be sponsored by the Irish Dairy Board and will be known as The Kerrygold Champion Chase (Grade 1). Formerly sponsored by BMW and Betdaq, the Kerrygold Champion Chase has increased ?30,000 in value this year. This is sure to add even more spice to a race that has been won in the past by champions such as Moscow Flyer, Flagship Uberalles and Klairon Davies. The Kerrygold Champion Chase will take place on Tuesday, April 26th and will be the feature race on a card worth in excess of ?470,000.Commenting on the new sponsorship Dick O' Sullivan, General Manager of Punchestown, said 'it is very exciting news that The Irish Dairy Board have come on board to sponsor the Kerrygold Champion Chase.
