Killultagh to sponsor novice chase The Northern Ireland Festival of Racing has announced that Killultagh Properties is the new sponsor of the high profile novice chase at Down Royal racecourse in November.The support of Killultagh Properties has doubled the value of the prizemoney for this prestigious race and will attract the cream of young chasers.The Killultagh Properties Chase run over two and a quarter miles is restricted to first and second season novices. Last year's winner was Rathdown Prince, trained by Dessie Hughes who finished runner-up earlier this year in the Irish Grand National.Familiar to Irish racecourses are the homebred runners of Frank Boyd, Killultagh Properties Chairman, that carry the Killultagh Properties prefix.Down Royal manager, Mike Todd said, 'It's support from local companies such as Killultagh Properties that has created and developed the festival into one of the most successful meetings in Ireland. The Killultagh Properties Chase forms part of a trio of top jump races on what can only be described as Super Saturday.' The Northern Ireland Festival of Racing takes place on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th of November.
