Knight Waits On Weather For Demon Henrietta Knight will not make a decision on Racing Demon´s participation at Sandown on Saturday until later in the week. The six-year-old Arkle favourite has recovered from a burst abscess on a tooth and is now being considered for a tilt at the Grade One Scilly Isles Novices´ Chase. However, the Wantage-based trainer acknowledged conditions at the Esher venue could work against Racing Demon if the ground is too quick at the weekend. 'I haven´t really any idea what I´ll be doing with him until I know what the weather is doing,' reported Knight. 'The ground at the moment will probably be too quick though. 'The ground there on Boxing Day (he missed the Wayward Lad Novices´ Chase due to unsuitable conditions) was good to soft in places. 'So if it´s good all over, it means it will be even quicker down the railway side - he is very well though.' Racing Demon is unbeaten in his fledgling chasing career and is a general 5-1 to lift the two-mile novice championship at the Cheltenham Festival.(C) PA Sport
