Lee Aiming For Wednesday Return Graham Lee hopes to be back in action at Newcastle on Wednesday after injuring his ankle in a fall at Catterick on Thursday. Lee was hurt after parting company with Elaala in a three-horse pile-up in the selling hurdle on Thursday and will now miss his booked rides at Kelso and Carlisle. However, precautionary X-rays show no serious damage and his agent Richard Hale expects him to make a speedy return. 'Graham´s X-ray was clear. There is no break but there is an awful lot of swelling,' said Hale. 'There is no racing in the North until Wednesday so that is his first target, but if he doesn´t make that we will be looking at Musselburgh on Friday.' Keith Mercer was also involved in the incident and Hale, who is also agent for the conditional rider, confirmed he has suffered a broken collarbone. 'Keith has broken his collarbone in two places,' said Hale. 'He will be out for at least a month.'(C) PA Sport
