Logic records Newbury win Queen`s Logic won the Dubai Duty Free Stakes at Newbury today and cemented her position at the head of the betting for the Sagitta 1000 Guineas. Last season`s outstanding juvenile filly was sent off the 1-3 favourite for the seven-furlong Group Three contest and never gave her supporters a moment`s anxiety as she strode clear to score in good style.Steve Drowne settled the Mick Channon-trained Queen`s Logic on the heels of the front-running Lady Dominatrix as the field went along at only a steady pace.The leader stepped on the gas with three furlongs left to travel but the market leader had the move covered and Drowne sent Queen`s Logic to the front approaching the final furlong. The race was soon over as she came home a comfortable one-and-three-quarter-length winner from the staying on Roundtree with Shiny half a length back in third.Queen`s Logic is now unbeaten in five starts and remains on course for the 1000 Guineas two weeks tomorrow, for which the Tote make herthe 9-4 favourite.
