Marino Of Venice Impresses On Debut Jim Bolger and Kevin Manning gained compensation for the disqualification of Tomas An Tsioda from the opener at the Curragh when Marino Of Venice bolted up in the N. Conlon & Sons Fillies Maiden. The daughter of Galileo hit the front with one furlong to race and soon put daylight between herself and her rivals. Kevin Manning could afford to ease the filly in the closing stages for a two lengths success. Jim Bolger had little to say regarding future plans for Marino Of Venice, but spoke in glowing terms about Tomas An Tsioda prior to the colt´s demotion from first place in the kildare Village Maiden. ´He could well return here on the Sunday of this meeting next year (for Derby). He is a good type, stays well and will keep improving.´
