McCoy hoping to bounce back Tony McCoy will be looking to put a nightmare couple of days behind him on the final day of the Cheltenham Festival today. The champion jockey has drawn blanks on the first two days of the Festival despite having a number of fancied rides, and was left devastated following the fatal injury to Valiramix in Tuesday`s Smurfit Champion Hurdle. He is still on 262 winners for the season as he chases Sir Gordon Richards` all-time of 269 victories in a campaign.McCoy has another full day ahead of him at Prestbury Park kicking the day off by partnering Londoner in the opening JCB Triumph Hurdle for boss Martin Pipe.It Takes Time will be his mount for the Bonusprint Stayers` Hurdle while McCoy has chosen to ride Shooting Light instead of Cyfor Malta in the big race of the day, the Tote Cheltenham Gold Cup.McCoy was originally booked to ride Lady Cricket in the Grand Annual Chase but that horse is a now a non-runner and he is likely to switch to stable mate Exit Swinger in the same race.He rides Royal Auclair in the Cathcart Challenge Cup Chase and his final mount at the Festival meeting will be on Polar Red in the Vincent O`Brien County Handicap Hurdle.Polar Red is bidding for a #60,000 bonus after taking the Imperial Cup at Sandown last Saturday and is set to go off a hot favourite for the closing event.
