McNamara takes early lead in Rockview Series Amateur jockey Robert McNamara has taken an early lead in the Rockview Bumper Series following his win on Explanation in the first race of the series, the Rockview QR Bumper, at Punchestown today. McNamara, having his first ride since returning from a suspension gained last December, partnered the Dermot Weld trained gelding to a neck win from the Emmet Mullins-ridden Gallant Fern.
