Moment Swerves Plate Challenge

Enjoy The Moment will not run in the John Smith´s Northumberland at Newcastle on Saturday.

After much deliberation, Jamie Osborne ditched plans to head to Gosforth Park with his impressive Royal Ascot winner.

The four-year-old was as low as 8-1 to win the valuable two-mile heritage handicap.

Osborne told the Racing Post: 'We´d toyed with the idea of going to Newcastle to take advantage of being able to run under a 5lb penalty.

'But thankfully the handicapper has taken a realistic view of the Ascot win, raising him 5lb to 97.

'Therefore it makes sense to take a step back to consider future options.

'His most likely target is the Brown Jack Stakes over two miles at Ascot´s King George meeting.'
