Munsef Team Hoping For Rain Connections of Munsef are hoping to see some rain ahead of the Emirates Airline Yorkshire Cup on May 18.The Zafonic gelding finished third behind Maraahel on his seasonal reappearance at Newbury last month and is entered for the one-mile-six-furlong contest at York. However, there will have to be some ease in the going if the John Dunlop-trained runner is to take his chance in the Group Two event.'Munsef took his Newbury race well and ran a good race in a race that probably wasn´t really run to suit him,' said Angus Gold, racing manager to owner Sheikh Hamdan Al Maktoum.'We had him here last weekend as John Dunlop just felt the ground was too quick for him but he´s in the Yorkshire Cup.'We´ll have a look at that and hopefully by then we might have had some rain and we might well aim him at that,' he told At The Races.(C) PA Sport
