Timmy Murphy has been booked to ride favourite, Royal County Star, in the Powers Whiskey Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse on Monday.

Regular partner of the Magical Wonder gelding, Robbie Colgan is unavailable due to suspension. There have been twenty six runners declared for the three mile five furlong Easter showpiece. Murphy of course teamed up with Royal County Star?s trainer, Tony Martin, to land this prize in 2001 with Davids Lad.
