Naas and Galway set to race this weekend

Naas report no problems ahead of tomorrow's meeting featuring the Grade Three Woodlands Park 100 Club Poplar Square Chase.

Both Gowran Park today and Wexford's meetings on Saturday and Sunday have fallen by the wayside due to waterlogging but Naas clerk of the course Brendan Sheridan said, 'I have walked the course and it is raceable. Of course, the weather could change things but the ground is soft, soft to heavy in places.'

Galway hosts a two-day Bank Holiday fixture beginning on Sunday with the ground currently described as heavy.
