Navigator backed for Newmarket success Totesport have reported good support for Henrythenavigator following today´s five day confirmation stage for the stanjamesuk.com 2000 Guineas at Newmarket. Henrythenavigator, one of four Aidan O´Brien entries, was cut to 12-1 from 16s with the bookmaking firm and is their worst ante-post loser. Spokesman Damian Walker said: "Henrythenavigator was heavily backed with us last year for the 2000 Guineas but this season he had pretty much gone off the radar until today. "News that Henrythenavigator will be part of a strong raiding party from the Aidan O´Brien stable seems to have sparked renewed interest in the horse. "He is our worst ante-post loser in the race ahead of favourite New Approach and Ibn Khaldun." Raven´s Pass, trained by John Gosden, is the one that would cost William Hill dear. Their spokesman Tony Kenny said: "We have seen very good support for Raven´s Pass in recent weeks and at this stage he´s a stand-out loser in our book. However, we still believe that New Approach will go off favourite for the race. "There have been really positive vibes coming from the Jim Bolger yard, and we think the punters will come for the Dewhurst winner later on in the week."
