New Triumph sponsor announced The Triumph Hurdle, which opens the third day of the Cheltenham Festival, will be sponsored by the construction equipment group JCB for the first time next March, in an initial three-year deal announced today.This two-mile test is established as the championship test for four-year-old hurdlers, and JCB will be only its third sponsor since its inception at Hurst Park in 1939.It was moved to Cheltenham in 1965 when the London course closed and will carry Stg£90,000 prize money in 2002.The three-day National Hunt Festival takes place next year on March 12th to 14th.
