Newmill disappoints in Cheltenham prep race Former Champion Chaser Newmill was brought down, when seemingly beaten, in his prep run for the Cheltenham Festival in the Grade 2 Byrne Group Plc Tied Cottage S´chase at Punchestown today. The 2006 Champion Chaser winner raced prominently throughout today´s race but was under pressure and disputing third when brought down at the second last fence. The race eventually went to Eoin Griffin´s Dont Be Bitin.
