No Joy For Brits In Japan The two British raiders taking part in the Japan Cup Dirt enjoyed no luck as both were well beaten by the impressive winner Vermilion.Both Gerard Butler's Jack Sullivan and Clive Britain's Kandidate had no answer to the five-year-old, trained by Sei Ishizaka and ridden by superstar Yutake Take.The winner had finished fourth in the Dubai World Cup in March.He won by one and a quarter lengths beating Field Rouge with another three and a half lengths back to Sunrise Bacchus.Eddie Ahern partnered Jack Sullivan who finished eighth and Ryan Moore rode Kandidate to finish 15th of the 16 runners.(C) PA Sport
